A long time Eldersburg resident wrote in and asked us to conduct this poll. Here’s what he said. “I am writing because I would like to ask if you could put up a poll asking people whether or not they would ride their bikes within the limits of Eldersburg and Sykesville if the towns had sufficient bike lanes and paths? I see an incredible opportunity to improve our community through cycling and polling our community is a great way to understand where residents stand on this topic.
Now many of you have read about Ross Dangel’s efforts to create a Freedom Trail. That is currently on hold for reasons we’ll get into later. So what do you think?

Why hasn’t the Mayor appointed anyone to the Gatehouse Board yet? I know for a fact that several highly qualified people have expressed interest in the position and he has turned them away. Is the Mayor looking for a Board Member who can keep the Gatehouse thriving, or is he looking for someone who can take the Museum where he wants to see it go.
